Colorado's professional association for lobbyists and political advocates.

About BPN

What BPN is

Black Political Network is a member-governed association for Colorado's lobbyists and political advocates. Membership is open by application, reviewed by the board, and maintained through conduct and professional standing in the member's respective field.

Standards

Every member agrees to abide by a code of conduct as a condition of membership. Violations are reviewed and enforced by the organization.

Practice

Our members are active, practicing lobbyists or political professionals in Colorado. We are not an honorary or alumni association. We do accept activists with a record of effective activism.

Governance

BPN is fully governed by its members, no outside interests or single founder rule.

Intelligence

Members in good standing gain access to Marun, the Network's innovative collective intelligence tool.

Standing

Membership is by invite, referral, or application. A member's standing reflects on the member who brought them in.

Find an Advocate

Find the right person for the job.

Browse vetted BPN members by practice area: lobbying, government affairs, regulatory work, and more. Let us know what you are looking for and we'll connect you with a member who fits your need.

Find an Advocate

What membership means

Vetted admission

Every member completes professional vetting before joining the Network, not an open registry.

Practice alignment

Members operate within declared practice areas and Network governance.

Discretion

Professional judgment and client confidentiality are assumed.

Accountability

Peer standards and Network oversight distinguish BPN members from unvetted operators.

Membership

Your home base among peers who do the work

BPN welcomes all currently practicing political professionals, including lobbyists, advocates, government affairs specialists, and allied practitioners, but we are not a forum for elected officials and cannot accept sitting elected officials.

Membership is practice-aligned and diverse. As part of our professional association, you gain a trusted network, structured programming, and a place of professional belonging, all while maintaining your professional independence.
